Andrew Amaro Acupuncture provides:

  • Related East Asian therapeutic techniques (e.g., cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, TuiNa where applicable)

  • Holistic assessment and treatment planning

These services are complementary healthcare therapies and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or emergency medical care.


3. Client Responsibilities

By booking an appointment, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete health information

  • Inform the practitioner of any changes to your health or medication

  • Follow safety guidance provided during treatment

  • Attend appointments on time and adhere to the Cancellation Policy

Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect your ability to receive treatment safely.


4. Booking & Payment

Appointments must be booked directly with the practitioner. Payment is due at the time of treatment or at the time of purchasing prepaid sessions or packages.

By booking, you agree to the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.


5. Cancellation & Refunds

The full Refund & Cancellation Policy applies and is incorporated into these Terms. Key points include:

  • Cancellations or rescheduling require 24 hours’ notice

  • Missed or late‑cancelled appointments are non‑refundable

  • Prepaid sessions and packages are non‑refundable, including unused sessions

  • Completed sessions are non‑refundable

  • Refunds are only considered in exceptional circumstances

6. Health & Safety

Acupuncture is generally safe when performed by a trained practitioner. However:

  • Minor side effects (e.g., bruising, light bleeding, temporary soreness) may occur

  • You must inform the practitioner if you are pregnant, taking anticoagulants, or have any medical condition that may affect treatment

  • The practitioner reserves the right to decline or discontinue treatment if it is deemed unsafe or inappropriate

If you feel unwell during or after treatment, you should contact your GP or seek medical advice.


7. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal and health information is handled in accordance with the UK GDPR and the practice’s Privacy Policy.

This includes:

  • Secure storage of clinical records

  • No sharing of data without your consent (unless required by law)
